About Koeisha & C0.,Ltd.
We have been in operation since 1917 .We have been continually developing new ways to manufacture dental hygiene products.In 1924 we changed to mechanized production,when our founder imported machinery from America.To increace profitability further we also began to use birchwood which had no manufacturing use in Japan at that time.
Since around 1930 we have developed foreign markets and created new products for our domestic market.
At present we produce dental picks,doctor picks,tongue cleaners,gum massagers,dental peeling sponges and backfit tooth brushes, etc. With our long history and accumulated knowledge of toothpick production,we have been able to design, remodel and redesign our products, machinary and facilities our selves.
Recently we have collaborated with a university and the Japanese government to produce new items.We will continue to produce in Japan and strive to inovate the development and manufacture of oral care items.

Management Idea
Our guiding principle is 80/20,that is we hope everyone will have at least 20 teeth when they are 80 years of age.
Studies have been shown that those who retain more teeth in their senior years will have a far better quality of life than those who have lost most if not all of their teeth.
